Vem har utsett jorden en rastplats för dig, och himlen som ett valv och låter vatten strömma från skyn och därmed frambringat frukter som föda åt dig. Och ställer inte upp rivaler till Allah när ni veta (bättre).

One year ago I was in Ankara with Gökhan. What we did there, well we were applying for visa to Gökhan. When I was gonna book my ticket he from no where decided that he want to fallow me home. So it was just to go the next day to Ankara.

We left Mersin in middle of the night and came to Ankara at 6 am after 7 hours travel. At the bus station they had people that helped everyone that were gonna go to all diffrent embassies. But before we left we had to go to there offies and take 4 photos and fill in all papers right and if I had brought the right papers from Sweden.

After we were supose to take the bus and lucky we are it was full so had to wait until next one came. And it was almost so we dident get any place on that too.

On half way we jumped of to walk instead. More comfortable and interesting!

We had to pass every embassie in whole Ankara!! The Swedish embassie was farthest away and in up hill. When we passed The Amarican embassie dogs came running and barking behind a high fence. Really scary...

When we finally got the Swe. embassie we took a number ticket and had to walk all the way back to the bank and pay in the visa. Running back and then got in right away!!

In the room we go in and give the girl all papers and suddanly she asks me to go outside! I got so nervous and I saw that Gökhan was too. And when he got out he just ran out from there! He was so mad on that girl. She had been asking the most stupid questions...Where we first meet, what name our hotel had and exactly what date we had been there, how many times I have been in Turkey and all exact dates on them. Crazy stupid questions!!

So we understod we dident get a visa, but he got a meeting the week after when he should get their decision.

Now the clock was just 10 and we had made plans to meet up with Gökhans cousin that is working in army. So we walked around in Ankara and the only thing we found was armys houses. So sat down in a park and rested, the travel had started to infect body and mind.

When lunchtime finally came we meet up with his cousin and he took us to a expencive place to eat. Just soldiers can eat that expencive!! Iskender was 8 times more then in Mersin...and then we should have dessert. And Gökhans all family know Im crazy about dondurma (icecream) so he took us to MADO one of the best dondurma places in Turkey! MmmMmm. Gökhan hates dondurma luckaly they had some fistik sarma. Then his cousin had to go back to work.

So we had to entertain ourselves until the bus left back home to Mersin. So found a internet cafe. I was so tired so I falled asleep in the dest and had my bag as pillow!! Can you belive it? Me falling asleep in a crowded cafe with lots of noice. Hahaa Me that couldent sleep anywhere eals then my bed when I was little.

Home again and ate some food and then straight to bed!! Home Sweet Home!!

By the way we got the visa!!

I got a LOVE Letter today in the mail!!

It can just come from one person, My husband Gökhan!

Probably first and only one I get! But so romantic!!

I am soon gonna go in to grandmum, we will make lots of buns to me!

I need around 60-70 buns then Im safe all time when Im in Örebro working.

Thanks to grandmum that she helpes me otherwise I should get stone dough buns to eat. Becouse I dont understand me on yeast...

Worst thing to bake with her is I have to wake up so early...at 7 my alarm called!!

Why old peopel have to bake in mornings?

But I still havent got my ass in there, my bed is to soft and its nice to sit and drink tea her infront of computer.

Kick my ass and Im going!

I will now share with you one of my grandmums great recipes!

Flatfish filé in dill sauce

6 hg flatfish or any other with fish like cod or perch

2 tsp salt

1 tbsp white wine vineger

3 dl cream, can take milk for a more light alternative

1 fish extract cube

1 dl finely chopped dill

2 tbsp flour

Do like this:

Pure together cream, vineger and add salt, extract cube and the dill. (I added some white pepper to give little more taste) When it have been simming for some minutes add flour that you have been diluted with some water, this is to make the sauce thicker.

 Lay down the filé and keep simmer for some minutes.

I have been spending my afternoon in Visby with Natalie.

Came late in to town becouse of road construction...Why could I not have been listening at the local radio? Then I could have taken another road.

But I had some fun in the line, infront of me I had a new flashy sportcar and infront of that one truck that came with stuff to the road. This two made me laugh.

When we start driving the sportcar stopes in the middle of way just when we passed the guard, then realice how to drive. Later the truck is going over to the wrong side (for us) there they were laying the new road, and the sportcar belive he is supose to drive there too so turn over but then the truck start to back. Ahahha so funny to see the person wave the hand to me and I understand he need help where he should drive. So Im sitting in my car jumping and waving my hand in the right directin. Me in a Ford Escort 97 helped a new flashy sportscar!!

After I had enough so I pass it and see its a girl driving! Damn it! It should have been much more funny if it was a guy.

Well in town so stands Natalie there and have been waiting 30 min. Sorry!!

But we had fun on the café. We got each a baguett, I took a seafood mix and she a chicken mix without sallad. Sat there and talked about old memories and shoes!!

Then we went down to the british pub but it was closed. So it was just to walk up all the long hill we almost falled down from earlyer. Then we did some window shoping, best thing when you dont have any money. But I got a wedding magazine...just had to!

Sadly I had to go home but first shop some groceries.

At home it was just to start do dinner, flatfish filé in dill sauge and potatos. Lovely!!

And some yesterdays apple pie as dessert. Now ''Farmer looking for wife'' on tv.
