[2:187]

أُحِلَّ لَڪُمۡ لَيۡلَةَ ٱلصِّيَامِ ٱلرَّفَثُ إِلَىٰ نِسَآٮِٕكُمۡ‌ۚ هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ۬ لَّكُمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ لِبَاسٌ۬ لَّهُنَّ‌ۗ عَلِمَ ٱللَّهُ أَنَّڪُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَڪُمۡ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَعَفَا عَنكُمۡ‌ۖ فَٱلۡـَٔـٰنَ بَـٰشِرُوهُنَّ وَٱبۡتَغُواْ مَا ڪَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ‌ۚ وَكُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡخَيۡطُ ٱلۡأَبۡيَضُ مِنَ ٱلۡخَيۡطِ ٱلۡأَسۡوَدِ مِنَ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ‌ۖ ثُمَّ أَتِمُّواْ ٱلصِّيَامَ إِلَى ٱلَّيۡلِ‌ۚ وَلَا تُبَـٰشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنتُمۡ عَـٰكِفُونَ فِى ٱلۡمَسَـٰجِدِ‌ۗ تِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَقۡرَبُوهَا‌ۗ كَذَٲلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

.

.

It is made lawful for you to go unto your wives on the night of the fast. They are raiment for you and ye are raiment for them. Allah is Aware that ye were deceiving yourselves in this respect and He hath turned in mercy toward you and relieved you. So hold intercourse with them and seek that which Allah hath ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread becometh distinct to you from the black thread of the dawn. Then strictly observe the fast till nightfall and touch them not, but be at your devotions in the mosques. These are the limits imposed by Allah, so approach them not. Thus Allah expoundeth His revelation to mankind that they may ward off (evil).

Den är gjord lagligt för dig att gå åt era fruar på natten den snabbt. De är kläder för dig och ni är kläder för dem. Allah är medveten om att ni var bedra er i detta avseende och han har vänt i barmhärtighet mot dig och lättad dig. Så umgås med dem och söker efter det som Allah har förordnat för dig, och äta och dricka tills den vita randen bliver skiljer dig från den svarta tråden i gryningen. Då strikt iaktta den snabbt till kvällen och röra vid dem inte, men var på din andakt i moskéerna. Dessa är de gränser som följer av Allah, så sätt dem inte. Således Allah förklarade sin uppenbarelse för mänskligheten att de kan avvärja (onda).

[2:188]

وَلَا تَأۡكُلُوٓاْ أَمۡوَٲلَكُم بَيۡنَكُم بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ وَتُدۡلُواْ بِهَآ إِلَى ٱلۡحُڪَّامِ لِتَأۡڪُلُواْ فَرِيقً۬ا مِّنۡ أَمۡوَٲلِ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

.

.

.

And eat not up your property among yourselves in vanity, nor seek by it to gain the hearing of the judges that ye may knowingly devour a portion of the property of others wrongfully.

.

.

.

Och äter inte upp din egendom bland er själva i fåfänga, eller söka genom det för att få den muntliga förhandlingen av domarna att ni kan medvetet sluka en del av andras egendom felaktigt.

[2:189]

۞ يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡأَهِلَّةِ‌ۖ قُلۡ هِىَ مَوَٲقِيتُ لِلنَّاسِ وَٱلۡحَجِّ‌ۗ وَلَيۡسَ ٱلۡبِرُّ بِأَن تَأۡتُواْ ٱلۡبُيُوتَ مِن ظُهُورِهَا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلۡبِرَّ مَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ‌ۗ وَأۡتُواْ ٱلۡبُيُوتَ مِنۡ أَبۡوَٲبِهَا‌ۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ

.

.

.

They ask thee, (O Muhammad), of new moons, say: They are fixed seasons for mankind and for the pilgrimage. It is not righteousness that ye go to houses by the backs thereof (as do the idolaters at certain seasons), but the righteous man is he who wardeth off (evil). So go to houses by the gates thereof, and observe your duty to Allah, that ye may be successful.

De frågar dig, (O Muhammad), av nya månar, säger: De är fast säsonger för mänskligheten och för pilgrimsfärden. Det är inte rättfärdighet att ni går till hus som ryggar dessa (som gör avgudadyrkarna på vissa säsonger), men den rättfärdige mannen är han som wardeth av (onda). Så gå till hus genom dess portar, och observera din plikt till Allah, så att ni kan vara framgångsrika.

[2:184]

أَيَّامً۬ا مَّعۡدُودَٲتٍ۬‌ۚ فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ۬ فَعِدَّةٌ۬ مِّنۡ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ‌ۚ وَعَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُطِيقُونَهُ ۥ فِدۡيَةٌ۬ طَعَامُ مِسۡكِينٍ۬‌ۖ فَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيۡرً۬ا فَهُوَ خَيۡرٌ۬ لَّهُ ۥ‌ۚ وَأَن تَصُومُواْ خَيۡرٌ۬ لَّڪُمۡ‌ۖ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ

.

.

(Fast) a certain number of days; and (for) him who is sick among you, or on a journey, (the same) number of other days; and for those who can afford it there is a ransom: the feeding of a man in need - but whoso doeth good of his own accord, it is better for him: and that ye fast is better for you if ye did but know –

.

.

.

(Fast) ett visst antal dagar, och (för) den som är sjuk hos dig, eller på en resa, (samma) många andra dagar, och för dem som har råd finns det en lösen: Utfodring av ett man behöver - men den som gör gott av sig själv, är det bättre för honom, och att ni snabbt är bättre för er om ni gjorde men vet -

[2:185]

شَہۡرُ رَمَضَانَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ هُدً۬ى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَـٰتٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَٱلۡفُرۡقَانِ‌ۚ فَمَن شَہِدَ مِنكُمُ ٱلشَّہۡرَ فَلۡيَصُمۡهُ‌ۖ وَمَن ڪَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوۡ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ۬ فَعِدَّةٌ۬ مِّنۡ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ‌ۗ يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِڪُمُ ٱلۡيُسۡرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِڪُمُ ٱلۡعُسۡرَ وَلِتُڪۡمِلُواْ ٱلۡعِدَّةَ وَلِتُڪَبِّرُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَٮٰكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ

.

The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the Criterion (of right and wrong). And whosoever of you is present, let him fast the month, and whosoever of you is sick or on a journey, (let him fast the same) number of other days. Allah desireth for you ease; He desireth not hardship for you; and (He desireth) that ye should complete the period, and that ye should magnify Allah for having guided you, and that peradventure ye may be thankful.

Ramadan som avslöjades Koranen, en vägledning för mänskligheten, och tydliga bevis för vägledning, och kriteriet (om rätt och fel). Och den som du är närvarande, låt honom snabbt månad, och den som av er är sjuk eller på resa, (låt honom fast samma) många andra dagar. Allah åstundar för dig lätt, han åstundar inte svårighet för er, och (Han åstundar) att ni ska fylla i perioden, och att ni skall förstora Allah för att ha väglett er, och att ni kanske kan vara tacksamma.

[2:186]

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِى عَنِّى فَإِنِّى قَرِيبٌ‌ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعۡوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ‌ۖ فَلۡيَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِى وَلۡيُؤۡمِنُواْ بِى لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡشُدُونَ

.

.

.

And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright.

.

.

.

Och när Mina tjänare dig fråga om Mig, då är säkert jag är nära. Jag svarar på bön supplikant när han ropar till mig. Så låt dem höra Min kallelse och låta dem lita på mig, så att de kan förledas rätt.

I am drinking a mix of pekmez, honey and black pepper! Something that is suppose to help for coughing and I really hope it works becouse its not the best I have been drinking if I say like that.

For those who are not turkish you maybe wonder what pekmez is... It is a must from frutes mostly grapes and we use it in breakfast but then we mix it with sesame paste. Then its really good but like this just to drink it then its not so good.

[2:181]

فَمَنۢ بَدَّلَهُ ۥ بَعۡدَمَا سَمِعَهُ ۥ فَإِنَّمَآ إِثۡمُهُ ۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَدِّلُونَهُ ۥۤ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ۬

.

.

.

And whoso changeth (the will) after he hath heard it - the sin thereof is only upon those who change it. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

.

.

.

Och den som changeth (viljan) efter att han hört hath det - synd detta är endast för de som byter den. Lo! Allah är Den Som Hör, Den Som Vet.

[2:182]

فَمَنۡ خَافَ مِن مُّوصٍ۬ جَنَفًا أَوۡ إِثۡمً۬ا فَأَصۡلَحَ بَيۡنَہُمۡ فَلَآ إِثۡمَ عَلَيۡهِ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ۬ رَّحِيمٌ۬

.

.

.

But he who feareth from a testator some unjust or sinful clause, and maketh peace between the parties, (it shall be) no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

.

.

.

Men den som fruktar från en testator några orättvis eller syndig klausul, och lät fred mellan parterna (den skall) ingen synd för honom. Lo! Allah är Förlåtande, Barmhärtig.

[2:183]

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡڪُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِڪُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

.

.

.

O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, even as it was prescribed for those before you, that ye may ward off (evil);

.

.

.

O ni som tror! Fastan är en plikt för dig, även om det var en plikt för dem som före er, att ni kan avvärja (onda);

Today we are gonna cook, today we are gonna fast clean the house, today we are gonna have visit from relatives that comes to see me...they have wanted to meet me seen the first day I came in Mersin, so 2 yeras ago. But for some reason we havent meet yet...

My sickness is not gone yet and I dont sleep that good which means I am really tired so we will see how this day will end or this weekend. The relatives will not just come for today they will be here all weekend! Insallah my patience will be enough!

Allah Yalla, my stomach hurts of all GOOD food!!!

Me, Gökhan and 2 of his cousins Nazli and Mex, we went to forum to look up some computers for Nazli and afterwards we went to the new Büyük Platina a house full of stuff a woman can wish for and on forth floor it was a restaurant there Gökhans friend is working. That guy was so nice to me, when I was choosing between two pasta courses he said that if I should not like the bolognes he was gonna send in another sauce, a mexican sauce. And so he did and the bolognes was wonderfull and also that mexican sauce!! Oh my that meal was one of my best I have had here in Mersin even if it wasent Turkish food. I am so sad I dident take any photos on it becouse Oh Allah sükür it looked delicious and tasted fabulous! As a suprise he after dinner offered us dessert on him and we got a fantastic chokolate cake! I wish we can have a similar one as wedding cake, it was that fantastic!

And on our way home we passed by our thursday-bazaar and found really good deals on sour green apple (Gökhan loves them), pear (I love) and the paprika. so nice so nice! But when we came home anneanne says they already bought paprika for me just becouse I love it.

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡقِصَاصُ فِى ٱلۡقَتۡلَى‌ۖ ٱلۡحُرُّ بِٱلۡحُرِّ وَٱلۡعَبۡدُ بِٱلۡعَبۡدِ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ بِٱلۡأُنثَىٰ‌ۚ فَمَنۡ عُفِىَ لَهُ ۥ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ شَىۡءٌ۬ فَٱتِّبَاعُۢ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَأَدَآءٌ إِلَيۡهِ بِإِحۡسَـٰنٍ۬‌ۗ ذَٲلِكَ تَخۡفِيفٌ۬ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَةٌ۬‌ۗ فَمَنِ ٱعۡتَدَىٰ بَعۡدَ ذَٲلِكَ فَلَهُ ۥ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۬

.

.

O ye who believe! Retaliation is prescribed for you in the matter of the murdered; the freeman for the freeman, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. And for him who is forgiven somewhat by his (injured) brother, prosecution according to usage and payment unto him in kindness. This is an alleviation and a mercy from your Lord. He who transgresseth after this will have a painful doom.

.

O ni som tror! Vedergällning har förskrivits till dig i frågan om den mördade, hedersmedborgare för fri man och en slav för en slav, och kvinna för en kvinna. Och för den som är förlåten något av hans (skadade) bror, åtal enligt användning och betalning till honom i vänlighet. Detta är en lindring och en nåd från er Herre. Han som överträdde efter detta kommer att ha ett plågsamt straff.

[2:179] 

وَلَكُمۡ فِى ٱلۡقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌ۬ يَـٰٓأُوْلِى ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

.

.

.

And there is life for you in retaliation, O men of understanding, that ye may ward off (evil).

.

.

.

Och det finns liv för dig i vedergällning, O män av förståelse, så att ni kan avvärja (onda).

[2:180]

كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيۡرًا ٱلۡوَصِيَّةُ لِلۡوَٲلِدَيۡنِ وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ‌ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

.

.

.

It is prescribed for you, when death approacheth one of you, if he leave wealth, that he bequeath unto parents and near relatives in kindness. (This is) a duty for all those who ward off (evil).

.

.

.

Det har förskrivits till dig, när döden närmade sig en av er, om han lämnar rikedom, att han testamentera åt föräldrar och nära släktingar i vänlighet. (Detta är) en skyldighet för alla dem som jaga bort (onda).

Lay here in sofa under a thick blanket and listen to swedish radio as quiet I can so I dont wake up Gökhan. I have been awake seen before 6 am becouse of my coughing, no fun at all! Specially when I know we are gonna have visit today from Gökhans cousin that works in Ankara as a computer engineer for the military.

My hands are cold as ice so its really hard to write, but its just to get used to it becouse the future here in Mersin will be cold, max 10-14 C in day time and on nights it will be down to 4 C.

When I came here it was 10-14 C on nights...no wonder I got so sick!!

Oh oh I here anneanne in kitchen and its finally 8 am and I can start with breakfast and get some hot cay in my body!!
