YESSS!!! I got my seeds from Sweden this afternoon! I cant wait untill I can start grow them and we are maybe giong to mountain house tomorrow so I can plan for it. But it seem like it is gonna be raining here for one week ahead...

On top - Cucumber, Paprika, Parsnips, Cauliflower, Yellow beans and swedish Smultron.

Under - Yellow mini tomatos, Peas and two kinds of flowers - Cephalaphora and Snapdragons.

Beşamel soslu Firin Makarna

1 paket pasta (500 g)

750 g grated cheese

2 tbsp margarin

2 tbsp flour

5 dl milk

salt, black pepper

2 tbsp oli

Boil the pasta for 8-10 minutes and let it rest. Under the time melt the margarin and pour in the flour so it become a dough, then you pour in the milk little by little and whip it hard, finally add some salt and blackpepper. Whip it untill it becomes darker and thick sauce.

When the sauce is done you mix the pasta and 500 g cheese and the the sauce, lay it in a ovenproof dish that you have preparing with oli. Last touch before going in oven you pour on the 250 g cheese that is left. Leave it in oven on 200 degrees untill it gets golden brown. (We also put parsley in the gratin which fits in very good!)

Yesterday it was Esmas birthday and from morning to afternoon Gökhan and I was baking cookies, poåaça and made a cake. Exact as Esma wanted it to be and it became a big hit! ps. specially Haribo's golden bears on top.

Today we have been celebrating Gökhans and mine anniversary, but its actually tomorrow but today everyone was off work.

They say that "1 photo can say more then 1 000 words" so I will give you a collage from todays Breakfast at balcony and our BBQ with relatives.

Right now Gökhan and I sit and relax after have succeeded to make the orange cake for tomorrows BBQ, both of us now wish it will tast as good it looks. So actually I am looking in my baking book after a potential back up cookie.

So wish me a good nights sleep, becouse tomorrow it will be mucho to do!

Gökhan and I have been spending all noon at Forum today.

So nice to just walk around and look in stors. We had a really nice lunch, Gökhan took offcours Adana kebap and I tried Pide with tavuk and cheese. Really tasty but to much, so its great that you can get it in doggy bag! 

We also went to a friend that works at Café Crown, she offered us coffe and I am swedish so I cant say no to that! Nothing is better then normal coffe, Gökhan had a latte that she put some extra work on.

Hospitals here and hospitals there, we are going almost everyday to hospital with someone in the family. This winter have taken hard on everyone in this family and now we all hope that spring is on way.

Gökhan and I had some time of from this hospital thing this afternoon so we went to see one friend that works in a cafe. That cafe has pretty high standard on their guest (super rich türks) so it feelt kind of bad to come there with my cheapest jeans and durty jogging shoes. I can just say Thanks God I had our camera with us so that makes us look like little more rich then we are.

Always when we go there our friend invites for something. Today we got a piece of cake, more specific a chestnut cake.

I am drinking a mix of pekmez, honey and black pepper! Something that is suppose to help for coughing and I really hope it works becouse its not the best I have been drinking if I say like that.

For those who are not turkish you maybe wonder what pekmez is... It is a must from frutes mostly grapes and we use it in breakfast but then we mix it with sesame paste. Then its really good but like this just to drink it then its not so good.
