Have to hurry now!

Going on a spontaneous picknick with Elin and her dog. Never know with us what can happen under a day. The plan is probably to go to east side of Gotland.


She have made egg sandwish and I will bring hot chockolate and some cake.

MmmMmmm!!

Oh my many things have been going on today.


Woke up accerly at 9 am but stayed in bed till 10. Its great to be ''between two jobs''! Then it was up and jump, I saw the sun was shinging which it havent been for maybe a week. So I could not stay inside even if I should have (becouse of my sickness)...out to cut the lawn. Took me 1½ hour...after well my back hurted to much so it was just to go back inside to rest.


Looked around on my computer after a old movie, found ''Did you hear about the Morgans?'' over a year ago I saw it.

Also downloaded some new once, like the serie Chuck! Oh that serie is great, sadly Sweden is 1 season behind Turkey so no other option then download it.


And if you think Im lazy well you should see my mum...

She had been planing to have chinken for dinner but not what kind of chicken.

So a hour before my iftar I had to take control over the cooking!

She is just sitting infront of computer and playing game. I hate nothing more then people that plays computer games, its so silly.

I am sick and have been oruc all day and she could not move her ass to cook dinner.

Luckily I had plenty of insperation tonight!

I took all diffrent roots we had, added onion, paprika, tomatos and peas, and in the end I put in the boiled chicken. This food is so fantastic good!!

If that was not enough I made cherry soup as dessert.


You can start thinking who is the mum in this house..??


The best of today was when Gökhan was online. Even if we dident talk about any important, mostly fooling around...


K -> damn it feels like your are soon home

G -> ha haa.. its not a long time.

G -> time going fast for me

K -> soon its kurban and then christmas and then its time for me to pack!!

G -> because l m doing patrol every 2 hours

K -> ja 1/3 if your army is gone

G-> 40 min. is walking in this 2 hours

K -> hmm, you just walk?

G -> evet next hafta less than yüz inşallah

K -> looking after terrorists? :D

G -> no no, just patrol. Walking with a empty gun and knife, it makes 5 kg.

K -> hmm, just see its as exercise. You will be so sexy!

G -> ha ha right! :)

I was sitting and studying turkish, the chapter was about yemek (food).

Im trying to translate a text there it says one dish I never heard about. Probably becouse we live in Mersin and this came from Izmir, it kind of fare between those citys so. Anyway Im looking it up...the dish was called Izmir Köftesi, its like a oval meatball that you make in owen with some potatos.

I will not taste it, meat in Turkey have a special taste and I cant agree with it.


But this website was great! So many diffrent yemek , tatli (sweets)  and well you name it.

One of the most things I miss about food is all kinds of pilav (rice), nuhutlu (chickpeas), mercimekli (lentil) and şehriyesili (noodle). MmmMmm

So bu aksam (tonight) I will make mercemekli pilav and to it I will just have yoåurt (yoghurt).


For those who want a challenge I'll give you the link here but all recipes are in turkish so use Google translate. Also think about that they use cay bardak (Turkish small tea glas) or bardak (normal drinking glas).

Its evil to make them face all that trashfood. But also has a good point with it, to see if they learned something under that time they have been there.


Just imagine from McDonalds, 12 kcal in just a ketchup, 340 kcal in frise, 495 kcal in a burger.

For you that eat at least once a week on McDonalds, Max, Burger King, Sibylla or any other fastfood chain you are not taking care of your own body.

And I know sometimes you just feel like you have to eat a burger with extra big frise and coke maybe some fried onionrings. But why?? Yeah just becouse of bad self-control and commercial.


I was accerly recently at Max with mum to grab a burger becouse of they sent out checks in the mail that you could by one and get second free. So we did, why not when we were in Visby and we earned money on it.

But I got so disappointed, the burger wasent cooked well so the meat was still little red. First time I eat a burger on a long time becouse I havent been sure if its 100% beefmeat. InsAllah it also is!

But anyway I really feelt how my body dident respond well. I feelt so sick and not just becouse it wasent well done, it was just that its trash food.


I can absolutly not understand them that can eat that every day!


This people are over 100 kg and me I am screard to hell to get over 70 when Im now finally under...

I had 3 day holiday that I havent been out walking every evening becouse of bad weather and sickness. But Im ashamed of my self and I just see the scale geting closer to 70... 

I never ever want to be 85 as I was 2 years ago.


Never I'll take by body into the trash food again!

Thats why I love ramazan it makes my get better self-control, but now its a whole year till next...

The party is over.

Was a great evening, much food, many memories, more food and then we finish the evening with movie and Elins tasty cookies.


On the dinner table we had, crayfish, shrimps, mackerel, vegetarian pie, small cheespies, garlic bread, 2 other crackers, frutes, 2 softchees and finally brie.

So you maybe see it was plenty of food on the table.


Movied into the tvroom and tried to start my DVD that I havent been using for over 1,5 year. But in the end we got it to work (after 5 time). We saw ''The proposal'' a crazy boss forcing her assistant to marry her becouse he visa is expired. Funny crazy movie with a happy ever after.

Like every girl like...

Under the movie we drank Elins tea (rose and rhubarb) also her cookies, I dont remamber the name on them. But they were really good!

I want to give you a recipe that I learned in Turkey.


Kizarmis Karnabahar (Fried Cauliflower)


½ head Cauliflower

salt

½ lemon

water

- Cut the ½ head in small pieces.

- Put it in a pot, squeeze out the lemon juice and you can also leave the lemon in. (The lemon is just so the cauliflower shall not smell bad under cooking.)

- Boil it so the cauliflower get soft but still little crispy, if it is to soft it will be hard to work with later.

1 glas flour

2-3 eggs

salt

kirmizi beber (red paprika powder) if you dont have you can use black pepper.

oli (NOT olive oli)

- Let it get cold before you put on the flour. Otherwise it will be like a sticky dough
and we dont want that. The flour is used to keep everything together.

- whip the eggs fast together put salt (If you did add under the boiling moment you dont need much now) and kirmizi beber into the egg.

- Now when you turned the cauliflower in the flour you turn it in the egg mix, leave it in a hot pan with oli. You dont need much oli, just on bottom. If you put to much the cauliflower will get boiled once more and it supose to get fried.

- Cook it so it get golden brown all around. When its done leave it on a piece of paper to dry the oli off.


Serv this with:


Garlic sause


Turkish yoghurt

garlic

- Squeeze the garlic into a bowl with yoghurt, mix it and poor it over the cauliflower right before serving.

Its nothing more borring to read about people complaining or their sickness.

But Im sorry I have to be one of them today.


I got stomach ache, headache, toothache and little feeling to womit...

I havent been able to do any, just been laying in bed cold as ice.

I watched a romantic comedy movie (No Reservations).

I made my husbands famous Nane cayi to get some heat in my body, and it helps every single time!






Nane Cayi    (Mint tea)

2 tsp mint in a tea-strainer that you leave in a glas,

pour over hot bouling water.

Add 1 tsp honey and some lemon juice.

Let it drew for some minutes so it get a green color.

Sit back nice and cozy and enjoy it!

Ohaa!! I have had perfect timing today.


- Waking up, got to store shoping food for saturdays party.

- Home starting a laundry.

- Under the time I entertain my self by baking.

When I cleaned the feezer some days ago I found a chokolate cream that I cant remember what I had it to. But it still tasted great so I just added some orangepeel and melted the cream alittle in microwave.

Had it inside a swiss roll (rulltårta), but it was alot of cream so it was just to clean all the stuff and start over agian and make one more dough to a swiss roll.

Its second time Im doing swiss roll and I hate to moment ''turn the cake up-side-down on a sugary paper and pull fast of the bakingpaper and then quickly on with the jam or cream''.

First of all if I should pull the paper off to fast the whole cake will break.  

Second its absolutly not easy to make a roll out of it when its cream on!

- When those was done I was gonna start with blackberrymuffin. But NO egg! Okay it was the only miss I had. But Im running in to grandmum and guess what she has exactly left 5 eggs that I needed! So I was lucky again.

- Home making muffins and they turning out good. I got 21 but recipe say 10-12, well I had smaller baking tins...I dont need them that big. If I have I'll get sisko (fatty)!

- Laundry was now done and when I look out the window its sunny, its had been raining all morning. So out with that and in again and started a new laundry.

- After I Was gonna start doing small cheespies, but my jufka was to old...


So now Im laying in my bed doing nothing. I should clean all house...BUT I have no motivation for it!
