Last saturday Gökhan and I was at dinner at our friend Ali. He was making drilled fish in oven and to it they served sallad. They always do here in Turkey, nothing eals then sallad, maybe çorba as starter.

For dinner Ali drank raki and he was pushing us to drink it but we are more religious then him. But I have never tried Raki before so he made me a glas anyway, and I can say I like it but I need much more water then he put. So every sip I took I drank some extra water before. But I learned something about it, if you dont want that strong taste afterwards you can eather drink some şalgam (a drink made out of red carrot) or eat a spone with yoghurt. Non of them worked for me but at least I have now tried Raki, even if it haram.

After dinner I gave him a Polkagris with tast of Viol. Every time I have been giong here I have given him Daim becouse he loves it but this time I tried something new. And it became a big hit that too!

Alis mum is so kind and everytime we are there at dinner she is spoiling us so much. First dinner, tea and dessert, then we get frutes and when we are all full we often sit down and watch some tv and then she come with turkish coffe. You can not move anywhere when you are done.

We tried that evening to look into our future in coffe, Gökhan had sign of Allah, Aii had fire and I had a wolf. And both Gökhan and me had a thick round spot in middle of the cup, they said it meant that someone was looking over us.

So we will see what will happen...... 

Well then this day is soon over...time goes so fast, already I have been here 2 weeks!

And all we have done today is resting, I did laundry and we watched movies. We also got visit from anneannes sister and her husband after lunch so I made cay, heated up yesterdays lahmacun and anneanne had made ricepudding. But they had allready eaten so they just drank some cay.

In the afternoon Gökhan, Esma and I went to our weekly bazaar, we bought red and green apples - 3 kg for 18 kr, pear - 1 kg 12 kr, cauliflower for 7 kr and potatos - 3,5 kg for 12 kr. So nice prices compared with Sweden!

Rest of the evening Esma have been running in and out from our room...and now its fruit time! MmmMmm!!

As I said before we borrow our friends car yesterday but we had little truble finding out where we wanted to go. to have the car just one day and so many places to see then it really hard to decide!

Anyway first of all we went to the doctor becouse Gökhans all shots have not made him better. This time we got more asthem medicin and some antibiotika pills. So now I really hope he will get better becouse i really need my sleep not wake up and think the third war have started.

After we went home and tried to make relatives go to our mountain house. But dede was going to a funeral and other was making manti and for the night they were gonna make lahmacun, so they had to be home cooking like always!

Then Gökhan and I decided to go with Esma to the city next to Mersin. When we got there we first went to Şelale (waterfall) ....

After Şelale we drove up to the mountains to a place called Eshabi Keyf. There 7 men was hiding in a cave from christian people, this happen on that time it was forbidden to be muslim. It is a miracle that they were not found. When we walked down in the cave it sat men down there and were praying for those people. Thanks to those people Islam is now one of those religions that develop fastest in the world. Allahu Akbar!!

Its so bad weather tonight! Raining all day and in the afternoon when we sat in a cafe on seaside with a friend it started to thunder. In Turkey thunderstorms are very big, the sound is much higher becouse of the mountains and you can see the lightning shine up the whole town. Its amasing!!

We had to call our friend to pick us up becouse we should not have been able to get home othervise. And we were actually going home to that guy becouse he is going to Antalya tonight if the plan now can leave...he is gonna bring back his old car and sale this one. And this car is same model as mine but one year younger, so not so many fancy details like I have. Ahah! Anyway under the time he is in Antalya we are gonna borrow it. Very nice, very nice!

Tonight when we drove home we could almost not come forward on streets, it was such uproar, trucks that stoped in middle of way and droped frutes, people was running over streets to get home and roadworks almost everywhere.

Now my husband are sleeping and I sit here and listen to this amasing weather, cats screaming and some snoring. Life is Wonderfult, Alhamdulillah!!

Oh Ohhh!! Nothing is better then to eat an orange after an long walk, so sweet, juicy and direct from garden.

Today it is raining alittle, but still not cold as it can be in Sweden. And I got all seaside for my self no one eals was there walking, just dogs playing around or finding a shelter.

I will here give you a round up from yesterday. First of all I woke up early and thats not a good thing to do a sunday in this family becouse sundays they eat bunch all together. So it was just to start up the computer and watch some series, great for me becouse I have been missing so many this last weeks.

Around noon our friend calls and in 1 hour Gökhan tells me are going to a picnic up in the mountains. So it was just to get ready, get warm clothes and blankets, stuff to make a sallad, cay stuff, frutes and nuts. Ali was gonna bring fish and wood.

When he came we were heading up on the mountains and Ali let me to drive alittle but it was sceary becouse the road is bad and small, and the fact that the car dont have any seat belts and we had a cliff on over 100 meter down made me shaky.

On half way the road ir closted and we have to turn back and try to find another way up. We came to a part that non of the guys had been. But we found a really nice place for picnic. Gökhan and Ali fixed fire in grill and I made sallad. 

After lunch I walked in the mountains and looked around on the fantastic view. I got a big time ass workout to walk up again! Under the time I was walking the guys had started to make cay and a fire becouse now the sun was going down and the cold came.

We sat there and looked on the fire, drank cay, ate nutes and later frutes. So wonderful it was!

The best thing on the day was to hear the sound from camii and the eco that become in mountains!

Just after breakfast today we went to see Gokhans friend that works as a pastory chef. When we got there he was making cakes and with such a easy hand he made them. And offcorse we were able to try some of them, first we got a Ekler its like a Petit-Chou. Then we got some ends from a cake which was banana inside and chokolate mousse and some pistage on top, mmm mm so good!

Rest of the day we have been fixing in our room to make it more like our. So now I can finally feel like I am home.

In the afternoon our relatives come to visit Gokhan and see how his sickness is going..sadly its not going that well.

As a bandage we got a present from them, two pots and some juice with cok vitamines. Very kind of them to give us that!
